At Least Three Killed in US Bombing of Yemen’s Capital

At least three people were killed and four others wounded on Saturday in renewed US bombing of Sana’a, the capital of Yemen for more than a decade, reported Al Masirah television, a spokesman for the Houthis.

“Two martyrs and two wounded as a result of the American aggression in the neighborhood of Al Nahda, in the district of Al Thawra (of Sanaa),” announced the television channel in an alert on its official profile of X.

The TV channel also reported that a third person was killed in another attack in the capital district of Bani Matar, where another injured person was registered.

The fourth injured person was located in the Al Safiyah district, while no casualties were identified so far from the shelling of the port and airport at Al Hudeida.

United States, by order of President Donald Trump, launched on 15 March an intensive bombing campaign against Yemen with the aim of undermining the military capabilities of the anti-Zionist militant group to prevent further attacks against commercial shipping in support of the Palestinian people.

On the night of last Thursday, the US Central Command (Centcom) said in a statement that it destroyed the fuel port of Ras Issa, in the Red Sea, where at least 74 people died and 171 were injured, according to the latest balance sheet of the Yemeni Ministry of Health.
